Itinerary Update for Sleeping Bear Dunes Tours

At this time, the scenic Pierce Stocking Drive is remaining closed. The necessary spring tree maintenence was never completed and that is being done now. As well, the Maritime Museum is closed andthe Blacksmith shop will only be doing presentations  Friday-Sunday. Foretunately all of the walking and hiking trails are open. We have changed our itenerary to include these trails. Guests can choose up to 4 different walks/hikes. Since all of our tours are currently running as 1 group only, your group can choose which walks to take. We recommend Empire Bluffs, Windy Morraine, Dune Climb and Sleeping Bear Point.  The minimum number of guests to fill a tour is 4. In addition, your group will be given the option to visit 1 winery at the end of the day.  As always, our guides deliver the highest quality of intepretation of the park. So, bring some comfortable shoes or sandals, enjoy great walks, spectacular vistas, a tasty lunch, fabulous information and enjoy a wine or cider from one of our many Northern Michigan Vineyards! Please contact us with any question you may have.

What Our Customers Have To Say

Great Sleeping Bear Park Tour

This is a great tour! We’ve been to Sleeping Bear before and really appreciated the information about the history and geology of the northwest Michigan region. Our guide was flexible and affable and provided plenty of time for pictures and questions, even providing binoculars and a tripod for great viewing of shipwrecks, lighthouses, etc.

Here at Up North Tours, we believe that the price you see, should be the price you pay. You will never pay extra for booking online.
